STEPHANIE HANNA
Born in Westberlin in the 70´s, work placements in fashion designers studio and pottery manufacturer prior to studying stage and costume design at the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee in the early 90´s. Moving to the Netherlands, graduated with a Bachelors of Theater Design at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht. She collaborated in theater projects in Utrecht, Amsterdam and Rotterdam, with focus on costumes and live drawing and collage projections. She works on artistic projects with specific social groups since the end 90´s. Graduated her masters studies from University of the Arts in Berlin in 2006. Since 2005 developing the participatory art project senior street art in practice, leading workshops and participatory actions in public spaces, intervening in social contradictions such as urban youth cultures and retirement age. developing an ongoing multidisciplinary artistic practice in direct contact with social realities.
